A Lesson From Master Yoda

Luke Skywalker: I canʻt believe it.

Master Yoda: That is why you fail.

Yoda had just performed the impossible.  Raising Lukeʻs X-wing (spaceship) from the swampy waters of Dagobah (a remote swamp world) by the power of the Force. Luke had tried to do the same. He doubted. He failed.

But for Luke seeing was still not believing.

And believing is central to seeing.

How often do we miss the miraculous because we fail to believe that which we see?

And doubt because we fail to see that which we believe?
