The other night while praying for my kids at bedtime I found myself uttering a new prayer, "that they would love tomorrow."
It struck me the moment it left my mouth. May they love tomorrow.
May I love tomorrow?
I proceeded to reflect on these words but was temporarily interrupted by a book I'm reading, also known as watching Daredevil on Netfix.
Love tomorrow. Love as an act. May you love someone tomorrow. The subject is tomorrow. It is a gift. It is an opportunity.
It is grace by sunrise.
May you love tomorrow.
For what it's worth this is now a prayer of mine.
God may you give my kids a heart to love tomorrow.
And may you grant me the same.
