How Do You Measure A Year?

A little over a week ago I found myself cramming. For just one more.

One more laugh with my kids, one more book to the end, one more project completed, one more date with my wife, one more moment in the sunset...

But the year, as they do, ended without regard for my last minute and ill-prepared to-do list.

Today there are 355 days left in the year. That's plenty of time but time is tricky, so to capture it well will take a plan. A good, reasonably ridiculous plan.

I'm working on it now. It'll have lots of numbers and not so many "mores". More isn't a great tool for measuring.

Life is full of what we fill it with. Yet sometimes we hardly pay attention to what that is.

We should measure more carefully.

I wish my plan (and this post) had been ready to go by New Year's but with the holidays and all who has time for such things.

Maybe next year.
